Travel Clinic services are not covered by OHIP, meaning consult and vaccine fees apply.
Many Extended Health Insurance plans, however, will cover the costs of travel vaccines.We provide official receipt with DIN# for claim submissions.
TRAVEL MEDICINE CONSULTATION & VACCINE ADMINISTRATION:
Dr. Chan -Tuesdays & Thursdays, Dr. Bhardwaj -Wednesdays & Dr. Land-Fridays
Travel consultation assesses each patient's need for vaccinations to prevent illness, Malaria medication, risk of traveller's diarrhea, and altitude sickness depending on the travel zone.Vaccines to prevent the following illnesses are available on-site: Yellow Fever, Hepatitis A & B, Typhoid, Rabies, Meningitis, Traveller's Diarrhea and Japanese Encephalitis.
It is advised that patients seek a consultation four to six weeks prior to travelling.
You are also advised to eat or drink before your consultation appointment.
- For booster shots, you may book any time available with any doctor.This is required to complete the course of the vaccine and attain proper immunity.**Travel Intake form is not required for Booster shots booking**
